This call was the fourth in her series explaining existing COVID19 response legislation and soliciting ideas for additional federal response measures.

Matteson, IL – On Wednesday, Congresswoman Robin Kelly hosted a second telephone conference call with more than 50 local small business owners and leaders. On the call, she was joined by Mark Ferguson, Illinois Deputy Assistant Director at the SBA and Melinda Kelly, executive director of the Chatham Business Association.

Congresswoman Robin Kelly announced the winners of the 2020 Congressional Art Competition for high school students at the Crete Creative Gallery & School in Crete.

"The purpose of the call was to hear firsthand what my local small business owners and independent contractors need from Congress," said Congresswoman Kelly. "I plan to pass on their concerns and ideas to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. We are doing everything we possibly can to make sure businesses not only survive, but thrive once we get past the virus."

Washington, DC – Today, Representatives Robin Kelly (IL-02), Terri Sewell (AL-07) and Mark DeSaulnier (CA-11) introduced legislation to provide Medicaid coverage for COVID-19 diagnostic testing and the associated provider visit.

Congresswoman Robin Kelly will host a Black Women and Girls forum to address the epidemic of missing women and girls in the Chicago area.

The free interactive forum, "My Sister's Keeper," will take place Saturday, March 21, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Chicagoland Christian Center (929 E. 103rd Street, Chicago).

Co-chaired and co-founded by Congresswoman Kelly, the Congressional Caucus on Black Women and Girls specifically addresses the needs of black women and girls, their families and their communities.
