Join U.S. Congresswoman Robin Kelly as she hosts a conversation with dynamic South Suburban professional women of color about their ascent to leadership positions in their respective fields. A distinguished panel of women across the education, health, political and entrepreneurial sectors will share their stories of overcoming challenges of gender and racial inequality, while achieving great success.
Join Congresswoman Robin Kelly to learn about opportunities for summer jobs, internship, career exploration and other youth services. The event is open to residents of the Second Congressional District between the ages of 16 and 24.

Congresswoman Robin Kelly will host her 4th Annual Hiring Event for residents of the 2nd Congressional District on Friday, October 14, from 9 a.m. to noon, in the gymnasium of South Suburban College, 15800 State St., South Holland. Last year, more than 85 employers with active job openings met more than 400 job seekers.
Prior to the Hiring Event, Rep. Kelly will host two Job Search Boot Camps to teach job-seekers how to find a job in 30 days or less, how to win an employer over in 30 seconds, and why you will find your next job at a job fair. The first Boot Camp will take place October 11, from 2 to 4 p.m., in Room A121 in the Adult Training and Outreach Center at Prairie State College, 202 S. Halsted St., Chicago Heights. The second is on October 13, from 5 to 7 p.m., in Room 3371, at South Suburban College, 15800 State St., South Holland.
