Washington, D.C. — Today, Congresswoman Robin Kelly (IL-02) testified before the European Parliament Special Committee on Artificial Intelligence in a Digital Age.

In her message to the joint hearing on the external policy dimension of AI, Congresswoman Kelly stressed the importance of Transatlantic cooperation and aligning US-EU regulations around Artificial Intelligence.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Kelly and Bob Latta (R-Ohio) reintroduced the bipartisan Supporting Best Practices for Healthy Moms Act, aimed at reducing maternal deaths in the United States.

The Act would help improve health outcomes for pregnant women enrolled in Medicaid by establishing best practices for maternal care providers, and increasing information and resources to better monitor and treat at-risk pregnancies.

I commend the US EPA for recently launching an investigation into possible environmental racism in the city's South East Side. The area has served as the region's dumping grounds and housed heavily polluting industries for generations. In recent years, residents have fought lead, manganese and petcoke contamination.
