Congresswoman Robin Kelly, member of the House National Security Oversight Subcommittee, released this statement concerning her vote to formalize the impeachment investigation rules and processes:

"Today, the U.S. House of Representatives formalized the process for our ongoing impeachment investigation into President Trump.

Following some fireworks related to the Congressional investigations into President Donald J. Trump, the House Committee on Oversight and Reform approved the bipartisan Internet of Things (IoT) Cybersecurity Improvement Act of 2019 (H.R. 1168), authored by Congresswoman Robin Kelly.

“Edan Alexander is returning home after more than 19 months in brutal captivity by Hamas. I’m thinking of Edan and his family as they begin to recover and heal from unimaginable pain.

WASHINGTON – The U.S. House of Representatives today passed the 2014 & 2015 Intelligence Authorization Act, which included an amendment by Congresswoman Robin Kelly aimed at preparing students at predominately black colleges and universities for careers in national security and intelligence.
