WASHINGTON, D.C– Today, Reps. Robin Kelly and Mike Simpson introduced the bipartisan Action for Dental Health Act for reauthorization. The legislation is co-authored by Congressional Black Caucus Health Braintrust Chair, Congresswoman Robin Kelly (D-IL), and Congressman and dentist Mike Simpson (R-ID). The bill was overwhelmingly approved by the House and signed into law in 2018 and is due for reauthorization this year.

Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representatives Robin Kelly (IL-02) and Young Kim (CA-40), who serve as co-chairs of the Maternity Care Caucus, introduced a bipartisan resolution to designate May 5-11, 2024 as “Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week” to raise awareness about maternal mental health and its effects on maternal-child health.
