Help with a Federal Agency

My promise to you

One of my biggest priorities is to ensure that all my constituents within Illinois' 2nd Congressional District have access to my office when they are in need of assistance.

If you have an outstanding issue or need guidance navigating a federal agency, my office is here to help.

On January 3, 2027, I will depart the 119th Congress and will not return.

For OPM, USCIS, and VA cases, please begin directly with Senator Tammy Duckworth's office by submitting her Privacy Release Form, which is linked below.

Senator Duckworth's Privacy Release Form

*Due to the number of cases being sent to the Senator, response times may take longer.

I hope my team and I can provide you with the help you need.

As always, thank you for the opportunity to serve you and your families as the Congresswoman of Illinois' 2nd Congressional District.

   -  Congresswoman Robin Kelly

Please note

The Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. § 552a) requires that Members of Congress or their staff have written authorization before they can obtain information about an individual's case.

We must have your signature to proceed with this type of request.

For our office to be able to help you with your case and to comply with the Privacy Act of 1974 (Public Law 93-579), constituents must fill out a Privacy Release Form (PRF). This document grants us permission to discuss your case with the appropriate federal agency. While we cannot guarantee you a favorable outcome, we will do our best to help you receive a fair and timely response to your issue.

Note: Constituents must reach out through the Congresswoman’s webpage, the office helpline, or in person at one of the district offices to receive assistance.

If you are a resident of another district, please click here to find your representative.
