CHICAGO (WLS) -- Federal agents trace nearly half a million guns used in crimes each year, often turning up a dangerous link that's putting guns in the hands of criminals. Now, the I-Team is investigating a loophole linking recent high profile shootings: Criminals getting around gun safety laws by exploiting legal sales.

In last month's battlefield in Culiacan, Mexico connected to the arrest of El Chapo's son, the combatants were armed with heavy weaponry of an ongoing cartel arms race. The I-Team has uncovered that that arms race now stretches to Illinois.

A member of the famed Tuskegee Airmen who flew dozens of missions in World War II and was downed by enemy fire, Robert Martin might have simply shrugged his shoulders and said "I was just trying to do my job the best I could do," Gabrielle, one of his three daughters, said.

WASHINGTON — On Thursday, the U.S. House of Representatives authorized public hearings in our ongoing impeachment investigation into President Donald Trump. I voted for this measure alongside 231 of my colleagues.

As a student of history, I firmly believe that our Founding Fathers were deeply and rightfully concerned about this exact situation. A President pressured a foreign government to intervene in our domestic affairs for his own personal and political gain.
