WASHINGTON, DC — Last night, the House overwhelmingly passed the bipartisan Action for Dental Health Act (H.R. 2422), co-authored by Congressional Black Caucus Health Braintrust Chair, Congresswoman Robin Kelly (D-IL), and Congressman and dentist Mike Simpson (R-ID). It received 387 yes votes.

Congresswoman Robin Kelly will host a Housing Expo on Saturday, March 10, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, at Prairie State College, 202 S. Halsted St., Chicago Heights. Participants will learn about the Hardest Hit Program, the process of obtaining a loan, and improving your credit. First-time homebuyers will receive guidance and learn more about property taxes and tax cuts associated with homebuying.

Washington, DC – This morning, Congresswoman Robin Kelly, vice chair of the House Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, took to the House Floor demanding action to prevent another school shooting like yesterday's at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL.

On the House floor, she said, "on a day when school children should be thinking about baseball tryouts, prom and college selections, again they head to school living the reality that a gun may strike them down at any moment."
