University Park is the twelfth south suburban fire department to receive a federal grant, bringing the total of funds awarded to south suburban fire departments this year to $2.6 million.

The NDAA includes three of Rep. Kelly’s bipartisan amendments to establish a Transition Assistance Program for military spouses, to improve interagency communication, and to create a National Digital Reserve Corps.
