Rep. Kelly Named to Energy and Commerce Committee for the 118th Congress

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Representative Kelly announced that she has been named to serve on the Energy and Commerce Committee in the 118th Congress. Representative Kelly with serve on the Health Subcommittee, Communications and Technology Subcommittee, and the Innovation, Data, and Commerce Subcommittee.

In addition to her committee assignments, Representative Kelly will continue to serve as the Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus Health Braintrust and Co-Chair of the Congressional Caucus on Black Women and Girls.

“It is an honor to serve on the Energy and Commerce Committee. I am excited to get to work using this position to help deliver for the people of the Second District of Illinois,” said Rep. Kelly. “Alongside my fellow House Democrats, I am focused on expanding health care access, lowering costs, creating better-paying jobs, making our communities safer, and continuing the important work of combatting the maternal mortality crisis.”
