Congresswoman Kelly to Welcome Pastor Andrew Singleton
Washington, DC – Congresswoman Robin Kelly will welcome the Rev. Andrew J. Singleton, Jr., CPA. M.Div. to Capitol Hill on Wednesday, May 9th, 2018 to deliver the opening prayer before the U.S. House of Representatives as the day’s guest chaplain.
“Pastor Singleton has a unique gift to communication a message of faith, justice and equality across generations. I’m proud to welcome him and his inspiration voice to Capitol Hill,” said Congresswoman Kelly. “I hope his words serve as an example and challenge to this Congress to redouble our efforts to uplift and empower families and communities.”
Rev. Singleton is the pastor of Victory Apostolic Church in Matteson, IL. He was ordained in 1989 and founded Victory Apostolic Church in 1996 with 12 members. Today, Victory Apostolic Church is the faith home of thousands and carries out more than 50 ministries.
